Amy Martin is a landscape designer who specializes in blending beauty with practicality in creating outdoor spaces that mingle peacefully with the natural and architectural resources already present, while reflecting the spirit and personality of her clients. She addresses the specific needs of each outdoor space with sensitivity to environmental issues and site conditions, and brings spaces to life with architectural antiques, water features and beautiful plant compositions.
Her strong interest in art influences her goal of unifying the elements in a landscape, creating transitional spaces between "indoors" and "outdoors", repeating themes or colors throughout the space, and making pathways to connect the different parts of the yard.
In addition to extensive training in horticulture and art, Amy is a graduate of the Landscape Design Program of the Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University. She is a member of the New England Landscape Design and History Association.
Amy serves Boston's South Shore and the greater Boston area, and has designed landscapes in Minnesota, North Carolina, Florida and Pennsylvania.
